Hydrocortisone 1% Cream is an OTC corticosteroid cream that temporarily relieves itching and minor skin irritations. Its anti-inflammatory action reduces redness, swelling, and itching associated with a wide range of common skin conditions.

Inactive Ingredients
Aloe vera gel, cetearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, methylparaben, propylparaben, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearic acid, white petrolatum.
Directions for Use
- Adults and children 2 years of age and older:
- Apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
- Apply a thin layer and rub in gently.
- Children under 2 years of age: Do not use. Ask a doctor.
- For external anal and genital itching:
- Adults: Apply to affected area up to 3 to 4 times daily.
- Children under 12 years: Ask a doctor.
- When practical, clean the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly before applying cream.
- Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before applying cream.
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you have a vaginal discharge, as this may be a sign of a condition for which you should see a doctor.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- A skin condition that covers a large area of the body
- Any bleeding from the rectum
- When using this product:
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Do not use more than directed unless directed by a doctor.
- Do not put directly into the rectum using fingers, pipes, or nozzles.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- Condition worsens, symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or symptoms clear up and occur again within a few days.
- Rectal bleeding occurs.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.
- Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact Poison Control immediately.
