Ibuprofen 200mg Tablets are a trusted over-the-counter pain reliever and fever reducer for adults and children 12 years and older. Each coated tablet contains 200mg of ibuprofen USP.
Ibuprofen is classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause pain and inflammation in the body.

Inactive Ingredients
Carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, hypromellose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, stearic acid, sucrose, titanium dioxide.
Directions for Use
- Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist.
- If pain or fever does not respond to 1 tablet, 2 tablets may be used.
- Use the smallest effective dose.
- Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.
- Children under 12 years: Ask a doctor.
Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water.
Important Warnings
- Stomach bleeding warning: This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding.
- Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever or fever reducer.
- Do not use right before or after heart surgery.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have had stomach problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking blood thinners (anticoagulants) or any other drug.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days, fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. Avoid use at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy.
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
