Each tablet contains naproxen sodium 220 mg, which is equivalent to naproxen 200 mg.
Inactive Ingredients
FD&C Blue #2, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, talc, titanium dioxide.
Directions for Use
- Adults and children 12 years and over:
- Take 1 tablet every 8 to 12 hours while symptoms last.
- For the first dose, you may take 2 tablets within the first hour.
- Do not exceed 2 tablets in any 8 to 12 hour period.
- Do not exceed 3 tablets in a 24-hour period.
- Children under 12 years: Ask a doctor.
Take with a full glass of water. Taking with food, milk, or antacids may help reduce stomach upset.
Important Warnings
- Heart attack and stroke warning: NSAIDs may cause a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. This risk is higher if you use more than directed or for longer than directed.
- Do not use right before or after heart bypass surgery, or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever or fever reducer.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have stomach problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, or asthma.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other drug containing an NSAID (aspirin, ibuprofen, or others), blood thinners, or if you are 60 or older.
- When using this product, take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Long-term continuous use may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience stomach pain or upset, feel faint, vomit blood, or if pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. Avoid use at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy unless directed by a doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact Poison Control immediately.
